William Ellery's mission is to make the gear for those who assist and advance scientific exploration and research, preserve geographical and ecological diversity, improve resource conservation, and responsibly protect the human instinct to explore. They test, innovate based on findings, and look backwards at history to help better design and produce gear and apparel for the future.

William Ellery produces outdoor and workwear in small batches of new material & from vintage wears, reenvisioning each garment’s unique story. Boyhood sentimentality shapes the narrative, while lo-fi technical materials, such as wool and leather, cement the longevity of each piece. Alterations, mends, scars, and repairs are the markings that enrich the history of each garment. Their story continues with William Ellery.
