Description
What started as a personal archive has become one of Montreal’s most quietly compelling design diaries. Beau Type Vol. 1 is the first print collection of work from designer Steve St. Pierre; part photo book, part love letter to the city’s overlooked signage and typography. Shot entirely on walks through Montreal, the images document the handmade, the half-faded, the un-designed but unforgettable. Paired with a new interview and original portraits, this book captures a project that’s as much about noticing your city as it is about healing through it.
