1970s Bulova Oceanographer (serviced)
A handsome late-1970s Bulova Oceanographer with plenty of character. Dating to 1978, this example pairs a finely textured black dial with gold-tone markers, a matching case and a day-date display at three o’clock. The warm red-brown leather strap adds to its distinctly ’70s appeal. Inside is Bulova’s automatic calibre 1133.10, based on the ETA 2879 and operating at 21,600 beats per hour. The movement was fully serviced in August 2026 and has been calibrated to run between approximately +3 and −3 seconds per day on a timegrapher at the time of testing. The case, crystal and dial show some age and wear consistent with a vintage watch.
