Northfield Parka V.2 | Black 60/40
Originally designed for a California transplant adjusting to the brutal winters of Northfield, Minnesota, the Northfield Parka is built for the kind of cold that means business. A proper winter coat with a relaxed, functional approach, it combines serious warmth with the thoughtful details we've come to expect from Battenwear. Cut from a durable 60/40 cotton-nylon fabric, the Northfield offers natural wind and water resistance without relying on chemical coatings. Substantial yet surprisingly lightweight, the fabric is breathable, hard-wearing, and designed to age well. Fleece-lined handwarmer pockets, raglan sleeves for easy movement, and an adjustable hood with a structured, foam-reinforced brim make it particularly well suited to Canadian winters.
Practical touches include Velcro closures at the cuffs and chest pockets for easy access with gloves on, a two-way YKK zipper finished with a Battenwear-embossed leather pull, and an internal waist drawstring to fine-tune the fit. The updated cut runs true to size with a little more room than the original version, leaving plenty of space for layering.
